Watching footage of Friday’s IAME Warrior Final karting race must have sent a shiver down Toto Wolff’s spine. His son Jack was involved in a frightening accident when a rival and his kart flew over his head.
Toto Wolff’s son Jack is taking the first steps in his racing career in the Italian IAME Series Italy X30 karting championship. He claimed the under-10 title after a very successful second half of the season.
However, the end of his season could have taken a very nasty turn. In Friday’s IAME Warrior Final race at Italy’s Leopard Vitebro circuit, he was battling for the lead with Spanish junior Nagy Elgahoudi when their front wheels touched.

Wolff immediately spun and ended up in the path of an approaching rival, who flew straight over him in his kart. Jack was forced to retire from the race.
According to journalist Thomas Maher, Toto and Susie Wolff’s son escaped serious injury and needed only minor treatment. The nine-year-old was determined to race again on Saturday.
